The crossing was fairly painless and customs guys quite friendly. They even had a mission statement on the wall to be the best customs/ immigration office in the world. It was also here we changed cars to Kenyan drivers, our little family of six got broken up to three, us and our new Belgium lady friend. The road followed the base of mount Kilimanjaro and quite scenic. From then, 2 hours to our next tent for the night. This place was magic, all the tents having a view of the snow covered mount.
