Left our comfortable room at 6am for our walk with the lions.
Apparently it is 3 degrees C, felt like minus 3.
So this lion walk is part of getting young orphan cubs back in the wild world. A 4 stage program 1st stage is to get the young ones use to walking around the bush. Second stage they are let out each day in a small controlled area by themselves. Third released into a park with no enemies but have to get own food. Hyena is competition for the food. Last stage they are on their own in a big park. The program is not funded by the government so they let us tourists walk with stage one cubs to fund the program. First walk was two 4 month cubs second was two 10 months cubs. Little devils walk quick, think they play tire the tourist out. But as long as you did not touch the head you were able to pat them which was rather good. One of the older ones even lay on its back and insisted on us scratching her belly. Great morning.

Lunch in town, bowl of fries $2, that is as cheap as chips. Victoria Falls is a great little town with little novelty shops. Just had to get the message through to the touters we were not buying anything from them.
Impala steak grilled, for dinner was sensational especially after chicken livers simmered in Bailies liqueur.
So far nothing has put me off my tucker.
